MNS1 Driver App Privacy Policy
Last updated August 27, 2026.
The MNS1 Driver app is a private workplace tool for active MNS1 Express employee drivers. Accounts are created by the company as part of driver onboarding; the app cannot be used by the public. This policy describes what the app collects and how that information is used. The MNS1 Express website has its own privacy policy.
Information the app collects
Sign-in: your driver code and a 6-digit PIN. The PIN is never stored in readable form — our systems keep only a salted cryptographic hash, and it can be reset but never viewed.
Paperwork photos: images you choose to capture or attach (bills of lading, proof-of-delivery documents, receipts, and similar work paperwork). The camera and photo library are used only when you start a scan or attachment; the app takes no photos on its own and does not scan your photo library.
Messages: messages you send to and receive from MNS1 Express office staff inside the app.
Push notification token: a device token used to deliver dispatch and office notifications to your phone.
Technical logs: standard request records (such as time, network address, and the action performed) kept for security and troubleshooting.
Information the app displays but does not collect from you
Your assigned loads, stops, miles, safety and performance summaries, and pay details (settlements, checks, and per-load pay) are company employment records created in MNS1 Express operating systems. The app displays them to you; it does not collect them from your device.
What the app does not do
No GPS or background location tracking — the app does not request location permission at all. No biometric login (no Face ID or fingerprint data). No contact-list, calendar, or microphone access. No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell any driver information.
How information is used
Everything the app collects is used to run your work with MNS1 Express: coordinating dispatch and loads, receiving and reviewing your paperwork, answering your messages, showing your pay, and keeping driver accounts secure. Information is not used for marketing.
Service providers
The app talks to systems MNS1 Express operates. Two kinds of service providers help deliver the experience: push notifications are relayed through Expo's notification service and then Apple or Google to reach your device, and app distribution is handled by Apple's App Store and Google Play. These providers process only what is needed to deliver those services.
Security
All app traffic is encrypted in transit. Sign-in sessions use short-lived tokens; a PIN reset immediately signs out every device on the account. When a driver leaves MNS1 Express, app access and notifications are disabled automatically.
Retention and deletion
Work records shown in or submitted through the app (such as delivery paperwork and pay records) are employment and transportation records that MNS1 Express must retain under company policy and legal requirements, including federal transportation regulations. Device-side data such as the push token is removed when your account is disabled. You may request deletion of data that is not subject to those retention requirements by following our Data Deletion Instructions, and you can remove the app and its on-device data at any time by deleting it from your phone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change and material updates will be communicated to drivers directly.
